Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has had a pop at the ambition of Bundesliga clubs.
Lukaku feels German clubs should be spending more in the transfer market.
He told T-Online: "The Bundesliga is one of the most interesting leagues because there are teams like Borussia Dortmund or Schalke 04, where you can see many young talents.
"I think the clubs of the Bundesliga should break the barrier. Perhaps a team should pay more than €100 million for a player. However, I also respect the fact that they want to grow players from their academies.
"These are the next big superstars.
"Witsel? Axel (of Borussia Dortmund) is one of my best friends and we talk to each other almost every week. It's a pity he didn't win the championship last season. But he's an ambitious player focused on winning the title."
