Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez is counting on Mauro Icardi being recalled to the first team.
Martinez has stepped in to fill the void created by Icardi's stand off with management.
"It's not a great situation, neither for him nor for us who are in the squad," the striker told TNT Sports.
“We can't do much. He must make a decision with the people working with him and around him.
“We're on the fringes. We're people who work like him and we're available to the club. What happens around him must be resolved with his camp and the club.
“I'm very happy with how things are going. I was able to play in my first Milan derby, scoring a goal and winning it.
“It's a truly fantastic source of satisfaction. I couldn't even sleep after it because of the all the joy I was feeling."
