In the last 48 hours, Branca has gained permission from Arsenal to open formal negotiations over a deal worth £15 million for Henry. Inter hope to pay £10 million cash and include Adriano in their bid on a season-long loan.
With Branca now back in Milan, talks are continuing between the two clubs via fax, but Inter are anxious to wrap up a deal quickly to thwart rivals Barca. Henry is due back in London next week from his summer break and Inter are keen to have terms agreed before then.
