Inter Milan are considering a bid for Hamburg midfielder Rafael van der Vaart.

Corriere dello Sport says the Holland international is on Inter's shopping list for the January market as they struggle to cope with a raft of key midfield injuries.

Inter can expect stiff competition from Juventus, which had chief scout Pasquale Sensibile check on Van der Vaart last week in Germany.
