Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has shrugged off the prospect of being beaten by Barcelona for Roma defender Cristian Chivu.
Inter directors Marco Branca and Lele Oriali have been chasing the Romania international for over 12 months, but Barca held talks with Roma on Friday and are expected to clinch his signing within days.
Moratti sighed: "His arrival isn't fundamental.
"I want to give maximum value to the players we already have here and who won the championship. This is my priority."
