Inter Milan are staying in tentative contact with the camp of Manchester City rebel Carlos Tevez.
Tevez is determined to quit City in January and remains a favourite of Inter president Massimo Moratti.
Those close to Inter say should Moratti find a buyer for Diego Milito, he will use the cash raised to part-fund a move for Tevez.
Moratti wants to set up an initial loan deal with the view to signing Tevez permanently in June.
