Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has played down talk of Giampaolo Montali's arrival.

Moratti commented on reports coach Claudio Ranieri has asked his former Roma director Montali to join him at Inter.

"In all honesty, nobody has asked me about it. Montali is a very capable man, but I only read about this in the newspapers."
