Inter Milan No2 Roberto Stellone insists they deserved their 2-1 win over Parma.
Gervinho had Parma ahead, but headers from Inter defenders Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni earned the win for the Nerazzurri in the final minutes.
“I thought it was a more than deserved victory. Thoroughly deserved," Stellini told Sky Sport Italia.
Antonio Conte was in the stands due to a touchline ban, so leaving Stellini to take charge.
“We knew Parma were very dangerous on the counter-attack, as they always are, but we kept the initiative, continued to push and in the end got the deserved three points.
“We've analysed why we conceded the goals with Sassuolo and will analyse this goal tomorrow. It's not easy to change two defenders of the back three and it was their first game in three or four months, so that's not easy when up against Gervinho.
“If we also look at the statistics, in the previous matches, we allowed eight shots on goal and conceded five goals. That is not a normal statistic. We are pleased with the performance and those who came off the bench made the difference, which is crucial in this fixture list."
