Inter Milan midfielder Sensi: Conte already improving me

Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi is delighted to be part of Italy's squad.

Sensi moved to Inter from Sassuolo this summer.

“I have high expectations of myself, as always," the 23-year-old said at a Press conference.

“Certainly, my attention levels will always be the same. I want to play, I'm available to the Coach.

“Having technical players like Jorginho and Verratti around me can help me. At Sassuolo I played as a 'regista', while at Inter I've played as a 'mezz'ala' so far.

“I'll play wherever I'm needed. I've always said that I'm a 'regista', but in modern football we often switch roles during the game.

“With (Antonio) Conte at Inter, I'm feeling very good as a 'mezz'ala'. Certainly, my mentality is improving under Conte.

“Above all, I already feel like I've have grown mentally. I think that in today's football, physicality doesn't really count as much as the speed of your execution and technique.

“A short lad can also be athletic. Italy are proposing an attacking style of football. We're looking to piece play together and dribble with the ball often.

“There are many differences between Mancini and Conte, in part because we have less time with the national team. Both have a winning mentality and that's what matters."
