Inter Milan midfielder Roberto Gagliardini was delighted with his brace in the rout of Genoa.

Inter won 5-0 on Saturday.

Gagliardini said, “It's a very positive moment for us, we are playing well and it's an important victory. Now we have a fundamental game coming up against Barcelona.

“I really needed a strong performance. It wasn't so much the goal, or even two which I'd not done before, but after a difficult start to the season, I needed a boost," the midfielder told Sky Sport Italia.

“I'll try to continue like this. It is tough not playing often, but Inter are doing well and we are all happy about that.

“This isn't the time to be talking about the Scudetto. We'll try to give our best and then see where we are in March."
