Lautaro Martinez admits he didn't speak with Inter Milan teammate Mauro Icardi going into last night's win over Rapid Wien.
Lautaro was the matchwinner on the night in the first-leg of their Europa League round 32 tie.
The match was dominated by the absence of Icardi, who was left out of the squad after being sacked as club captain.
Lautaro said last night: "I'm confident and I'm happy, it was important to win, it's a result that we bring to Italy, we have to work calmly and prepare for the next matches.
"For me, of course, a striker always needs to score, so I'm happy for the opportunity (coach Luciano) Spalletti gave me, I want to go on like this and give the group more, which is the most important thing.
"Icardi? It's a problem that has to be solved by him, we're here, it's a decision that will be governed with the management, we just think about playing and winning, I have not even looked at the phone, he was certainly supporting us, he's a good guy and he's always close to us."
