Inter Milan have big concerns about the long-term fitness of Romelu Lukaku.

After re-signing for Chelsea in summer 2021 for £97.5million - the seventh-most expensive transfer of all time - the Belgian striker endured a disappointing season, only scoring eight league goals, and was farmed out to the Italian giants in June.

But Inter are reportedly shocked and alarmed at the Belgian's physical decline, with injury plaguing him since the summer.

Persistent problems (ankle and hamstring) have limited him to just five games in all competitions, yielding two goals.

As such, they may not renew his loan deal next season.
