Inter Milan are attempting to close a deal for Sao Paulo midfielder Casimiro.
The 19 year-old is a top target for Inter chief Marco Branca, who is focusing on young players this summer, says Tuttosport.
The problem for Inter is they must overcome competition from Liverpool and Tottenham for Casimiro.
Working against Branca is the departure of Leonardo for PSG, the former Inter coach was the club's trump card when dealing with Brazilian transfer targets.
