Inter Milan and Leicester City are emerging as the two teams with the strongest interest in Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona.
The Brazilian is not in the plans of the Catalan giants moving forward and they would prefer to remove his salary from their wage bill this summer.
According to Sport, the 29-year-old is only likely to leave via a loan, as the club would have to take a significant loss on their financial records if he is sold.
Coutinho has to slightly lower his wage demands if a loan move is possible.
If he does lower those demands, Coutinho is wanted by both Italian champions Inter and Premier League side Leicester.
