Inter Milan legend Gigi Simoni says Leonardo should never have been given the coaching job.
The Nerazzurri are scrambling for a replacement after Leo opted to become the new director at Paris Saint-Germain.
"Inter should've known Leonardo did not want to be a tactician. It was obvious this was not his first choice," said Simoni.
"He didn't start out as a Coach straight after retiring from his playing career and spent years as a director, so they should've had some idea. Leonardo is a cultured man who speaks four or five languages, so he is happier behind a desk than on the training ground."
