Inter Milan legend Marco Materazzi is convinced Antonio Cassano will prove a great signing.

Cassano's arrival from AC Milan has been questioned given his explosive character.

"If he is placed in the right conditions, Cassano can make the difference. I often talk to Cassano and I know what he's like. He is a genuine guy and if someone says something then doesn't follow up on it..." said Matrix.

"This is Antonio. He doesn't count to 10 before reacting. Perhaps he gets to eight, but that's him, take it or leave it. If someone is honest with him, then he can sit games out and even be on the bench all season. He won't give Inter problems.

"With Wesley Sneijder, Diego Milito and the return of Cristian Chivu and Walter Samuel in defence, Inter can target the Scudetto.
