Inter Milan leaning towards sending Lukaku back to Chelsea

Romelu Lukaku is battling to extend his stay with Inter Milan.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says Chelsea could be forced to find another new club for Lukaku this summer after it emerged Inter Milan could terminate his loan agreement early.

The Belgian has been plagued by injury this season and has lost his place in the side to Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez, with the 30-year-old's form has declined this season.

Inter paid £7m for the privilege of having the Belgium international leading their line after Chelsea allowed him to leave just 10 months after his £97.5m record transfer. However, the Italians are less convinced about keeping him at the club.

And he may now need to find a new home, with the Blues unlikely to welcome him back if he leaves the Nerazzurri.
