Inter Milan want to sign Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen immediately.
The Mirror says Inter are trying to put Matias Vecino into a player-plus-cash deal for Eriksen.
The Serie A giants are pushing to do a £20million deal for Tottenham contract rebel Eriksen who is a free agent in the summer.
They want to get the deal done in January and want midfielder Vecino included in the package with Spurs keen to sell in January - rather than lose him for nothing in the summer.
But player-plus-cash deals are notoriously difficult to get done because of differences in valuations while it is also understood that Eriksen's mindset has been to wait until the summer.
Sources suggest that the deal is still some way from being agreed but Inter are pushing hard - as they know they could lose him to Real Madrid or Barcelona if they leave it until the summer.
