Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic hailed their stunning win against Champions League opponents Tottenham last night.

Inter stormed back in the final ten minutes to score twice and triumph 2-1.

Handanovic said, "A fundamental victory, tonight we showed great character, we continued to play even after the Tottenham goal and the team did not fall apart like other times.

"The stadium pushed us, it was a beautiful evening, a spectacular match with a crazy atmosphere, the group will be very balanced until the end, this victory gives us the strength to not give up and gives us great enthusiasm.

"We did not start well but this win puts a little bit of wind in the stern, we have to remember this match for the one that awaits us on Saturday."
