Inter Milan remain keen on New York City FC midfielder Andrea Pirlo.

Gazzetta dello Sport says despite denials from coach Roberto Mancini, Inter are in contact with Pirlo about a January deal.

Inter have sounded out Pirlo about his availability and terms regarding a three-month loan deal.

The final decision will be left to NYCFC, where Pirlo is contracted until December 31, 2016.

AC Milan GM Adriano Galliani hinted yesterday he expected Pirlo to sign for the Nerazzurri.
