Inter Milan have scheduled new contract talks with Mauro Icardi this week.Calciomercato.com says Icardi's agent Albano Morano will meet with Inter directors Marco Fassone and Piero Ausilio in the middle of the week.
Icardi is tied to Inter until 2018, but earns less than a third of the likes of Nemanja Vidic and Rodrigo Palacio.
Past negotiations have stalled over image rights, but Morano is now willing to compromise.
The agent will seek a one-year extension, with terms jumping from €1.2 million-a-year to €3 million-a-year. And if Inter insist on keeping Icardi's image rights, they will demand €3.5 million-a-year.
