Inter Milan hero Luis Suarez has defended the work of football chief Marco Branca.
Branca has been criticised over his transfer market work with Inter again struggling in recent games.
But Suarez, who still works as a scout for Inter, told TMW: "Don't make Branca the fall guy. He was also there when Inter won the title. It's not the fault of Branca, there will be more guilty. When the team was good, I'm not sure they gave the credit to him. Now why speak ill of him?"
Former Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini says he wasn't supported in the transfer market during his time in charge, but Suarez rapped: "He spoke out at the wrong time. He had to speak up when it was time. Now that things are not going well it is easy to say certain things."
