Inter Milan hero Sandro Mazzola is urging all parties in the Mauro Icardi controversy to find a positive solution.
Icardi was sacked as Inter captain over the weekend and was left out of victory over Sampdoria on Sunday.
Mazzola urged: "I hope and I think it will end well, someone like Icardi is still important in the offensive sector of the team.
"He is a great striker, who is always there in the right place at the right time. I would not give him up, I would keep him at Inter.
"I might even give him the captain's armband so we can end this case."
