Inter Milan hero Brehme welcomes arrival of Gosens

Inter Milan hero Andy Brehme is happy with the arrival of Robin Gosens.

Gosens arrived from Inter on Thursday from Atalanta.

Brehme told FCInter 1908.it: "I really like Robin and had already watched him when he played in the Eredivisie. Only Atalanta were really interested at that time, as nobody in Germany had him on a wish-list.

“He can give an important contribution at Inter, as he already knows Serie A well and doesn't need time to adapt. Nobody knew him before going to Atalanta, but they made him into a great player."

Ivan Perisic is in the final six months of his contract and Gosens is coming off an injury, so the handover probably won't be until next season.

“It's important to have options in every position, especially when playing in Europe. I expect to see Gosens consistently in the starting XI. He knows what it means to play at San Siro, he should enjoy himself and I wish him the best with the Inter jersey."
