Inter Milan help fans to get on the move

Inter Milan have partnered with public transit app Moovit in an attempt to make it easier for fans to get to games, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The deal will see the platform provide supporters of the Serie A side with detailed travel information on matchdays to help them reach the club's San Siro stadium. This will include guidance on how to access specific and dedicated entrances via public transport.

The partnership, which will also offer travel advice for getting to away grounds, aims to help fans get to games without using their car by giving them access to Moovit's trip plan, real-time arrivals and live directions.

The collaboration will also benefit supporters of visiting teams for European games. Moovit is available in 44 different languages, and will help away fans use public transport to get to the San Siro while also offering tips for exploring Milan.

"This is a team that has the highest average number of spectators in the current championship, and the only Italian team within the top ten European teams in terms of game attendance between August and December 2018," added Moovit's director of partnerships Samuel Sed Piazza.

"This collaboration marks a solid commitment on Inter's part to support sustainable mobility and for Moovit, represents an important recognition of the work that we're doing all over the world to facilitate and promote the use of alternative transit options."
