Inter Milan great Zenga: Donnarumma is Italy's calm leader

Inter Milan great Walter Zenga has praised the Euros of Italy goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma.

Zenga rates the youngster as a leader with the Azzurri.

“I could have played the first three games too," Zenga told Gazzetta dello Sport. “Then, as I know him: a boy who knows what he wants from life and lets everything slip on him. Even the Milan-PSG affair.

“This Italy have five leaders: the two charismatics, [Leo] Bonucci and [Giorgio] Chiellini, the tactical one who is Jorginho and the fictional one, [Lorenzo] Insigne.

“And then the calm leader, Gigio, because he gives everyone security. He is the one who gave the feeling of greater reliability.

“Compared to me, who made my debut in Serie A at 23, he has a great advantage. He is 22 years old, he already has more than 200 games with Milan, he has played the cups, he is playing a European Championship as a starter and he is about to play with PSG."
