Italian veteran Marco Materazzi believes he has the best group of players in the Hero Indian Super League at his disposal.
The 41-year old former Inter Milan defender is the player-coach of Chennaiyin FC and is confident he has a squad capable of vying for the title in the inaugural ISL campaign.
"For me, we have the best team," World Cup-winner Materazzi said ahead of Chennaiyin's opener against FC Goa on Wednesday.
"We had lesser time to train than the others but we have a squad full of professionals so I am confident about our chances."
Some famous names in the Chennaiyin squad, which is owned by cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, include former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre, ex-Paris Saint Germain right-back Bernard Mendy and captain Bojan Djordjic.
