Inter Milan great Beppe Bergomi fears signing Christian Eriksen has blown their title chances.

Eriksen has struggled since his January move from Tottenham.

“Eriksen is a tricky talking point for me," Bergomi told Sky Italia.

“I've always thought he is not a champion, he is a good player who is not suitable for Serie A and Antonio Conte's football.

“I know Inter have lost time, and maybe even a Serie A title, trying to help Eriksen to settle in. Conte threw in an attacking midfielder and lost something from [Lautaro] Martinez. He stopped after a while and returned to a 3-5-2 system."
