Inter Milan GM Beppe Marotta says it's important the players do the shirt justice in the Champions League final.

Inter will meet Manchester City in Istanbul next week.

Marotta told Varese7Press: "For us it is a source of great pride. We present ourselves with great merit, knowing that we are facing a favourite and highly respected opponent. But our awareness is to play it to the end with a great sense of belonging to this shirt and these colours."

Marotta was also asked about the financial state of the club.

He added: “There must be two objectives: on the one hand the valorisation of material resources, that is, the commercial area, matchdays and all sources of revenue such as sponsorship.

“On the other, the valorisation of human resources, a fundamental asset that should represent a healthy competitiveness within which there is competence, experience and professionalism."
