Inter Milan GM Beppe Marotta has declared coach Simone Inzaghi will remain in charge next season.

Marotta was speaking before last night's Coppa Italia final victory over Fiorentina.

He stated: “There's no reason not to continue the rapport.

“Inter are obliged to always be protagonists in every competition, as the trophy cabinet shows clearly. We are proud to be in this Final, because it is an appointment we all care about and want to lift the trophy against a Fiorentina side that is doing well and needs to be respected.

“We need great motivation, which is not easy with so many games to play. We must not make the mistake of thinking of the Champions League yet, as that might be a more prestigious tournament, but in sporting terms just as important as tonight, and then get the Serie A position back on track."
