Inter Milan fullback Matteo Darmian has welcomed new coach Simone Inzaghi and his backroom team.

The defender was a key player as Inter won the Scudetto last season under former coach Antonio Conte.

Darmian has enjoyed the first days of preseason under Inzaghi.

“The sensations are good and positive, all the conditions are in place to work in the best possible way," he said.

“We will try to understand what they [the coaches] want from the very first days because the season will be long and we will try to prepare it as best we can."
