Inter Milan are eyeing Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.

Corriere dello Sport says Inter will launch a bid for the Germany international if they qualify for the Champions League. Inter's European status will be determined this weekend when they face Lazio.

Inter's owners – Suning Group – plan to splash out for Gundogan in order to build Luciano Spalletti's project.

City bought Gundogan for €27m only two years ago from Borussia Dortmund.
