Inter Milan hope to have Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen in the stands next weekend against Cagliari.
Corriere dello Sport says a significant breakthrough could soon be made in negotiations - with Inter believing that Eriksen may even be sat in the stands at the San Siro.
Martin Schoots is expected to meet with the Tottenham hierarchy and reiterate Eriksen's wish to leave, although there remains a disparity in valuation between both clubs.
Inter remain confident of concluding the deal within the next couple of weeks, however.
Antonio Conte would like the 27-year-old to watch his new team in action from the stands soon, and is reluctant for negotiations to continue until the final days of the transfer window.
