Inter Milan remain in Bosman talks with Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
With both Italy and England in lockdown, Inter have taken advantage of the coronavirus suspension to continue negotiations with Giroud.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Giroud is currently on €8m-a-year, but there's a confidence inside Inter he will accept lesser terms.
Nerazzurri directors Piero Ausilio and Beppe Marotta are planning a two-year contract offer with the option of another 12 months.
The proposal will fall well short of the €6.5m-a-year Romelu Lukaku and Christian Eriksen are on - but there remains a confidence Giroud will agree given the length of the contract on the table.
