Inter Milan directors confident agreeing Giroud fee with Chelsea

Inter Milan management are confident of reaching a deal with Chelsea for Olivier Giroud.

Personal terms have already been settled, with the two clubs now haggling over a fee.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Chelsea are demanding €10m to sell the veteran, while Inter have so far offered €5m.

Despite the difference, Inter chiefs Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are confident of reaching an agreement.

However, any improved offer from Inter will depend on them finding a buyer of attacking midfielder Matteo Politano - who is interesting Roma this month.
