Inter Milan defender Nemanja Vidic is quickly establishing a relationship with goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
The former Manchester United captain has enjoyed his preseason with Inter.
"We have been working hard, we've had some good sessions. I'm trying to adapt to the way we play and so far it's gone well, if you take out the last game we played in Germany," he said of the 3-1 friendly defeat with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Vidic is trying to form a particularly close partnership with Handanovic in goal.
"I think it's important for defenders and goalkeepers to speak because we see the whole game and we can help the players in front of us.
"That's what I've done my whole career and I'm trying to do here, trying to help the players with what I see on the pitch."
