Inter Milan defender Joao Miranda insists they proved their class in defeat to Juventus.

Roberto Gagliardini hit the post for Inter in the 1-0 reverse.

“It's a tough defeat, because we had such a strong first half and then wasted a few good opportunities," Miranda told Inter TV.

“Juve are a great team and made the most of their chance to score. The difference is that Juve had the opportunity and converted it, while we had more chances and still couldn't find the net.

“Nonetheless, this evening we proved that Inter are as strong as Juventus, we just have to take our chances better."
