Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has hit out at the media over claims of a rift with president Massimo Moratti.

"There is no problem between me and Moratti," Mancini snapped. "It has been invented by others.

"Yesterday I merely expressed a different opinion to the President regarding the performance in the derby.

"I have never said that I was against him or that I couldn't agree with him.

"But right away everything that I said was transformed and interpreted in a controversial way."
