Inter Milan coach Inzaghi delighted with 6-0 rout of Hellas Verona

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was delighted with their 6-0 win at Hellas Verona.

However, he says there's no time to enjoy the result earned by goals from Edin Dzeko (2), Lautaro Martinez (2) and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Inzaghi said, "Let's say that we are in a good moment, we are playing well and materialising. We have recovered important players and now the results are coming. I'm happy, but we must continue.

“In less than 72 hours we'll be in Rome, and we have to put together a great match. Tonight, the guys did very well against a team that had only lost to Fiorentina at home in 2023."

On their top four push, he added: “We have the obligation to get into the top four and we know that our schedule is not easy, as well as that pitfalls are around the corner. We will have an intense finale, but with this spirit and this organisation we are happy with the moment.

“We are happy, we know that we still have to continue, now we have straightened out the table a little bit and we have to be good at thinking one match at a time, without thinking about the next one."
