Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte admits he wants more from Achraf Hakimi ahead of meeting Champions League opponents Borussia Monchengladbach.
Hakimi missed victory against Sassuolo on Saturday, but is expected to start in Germany tomorrow.
Conte said, "Go and see what I said at the beginning [of the season] about Hakimi. I remain firm on my positions. He has potential but he has to work a lot on the defensive phase.
“In Italy there are pressures, expectations and demands higher than in Germany and in the Premier League, especially in teams such as Inter.
“He is a boy who has good potential, but must work knowing that there are different pressures here.
"As for the tactical structure, I continue to reiterate a very simple speech that can be understood or not.
“We found ourselves after a short time having to make official matches with players such as [Aleksandar] Kolarov, Hakimi and [Arturo] Vidal, who had just joined Inter. We had to try them in official games.
“We had to throw them in with the risks of the case. The balance is found working together and maybe even through the results."
