Inter Milan coach Conte wants Arsenal striker Aubameyang to replace Martinez

Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte wants Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to replace Lautaro Martinez.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Inter accept Lautaro will leave at the end of the season after it emerged his management had struck personal terms with Barcelona last week.

With his deal carrying a €111m buyout clause, Inter will be powerless if Barca choose to meet the option.

As such, contingency plans are now underway, with Conte urging his board to move for Aubameyang as a direct replacement.

And Arsenal will be prepared to do business this summer as their club captain enters the final 12 months of his existing deal. Aubameyang has suspended talks over a new agreement, fueling talk that he intends to leave London at the end of this season.

Inter believe they can convince the Gunners to sell for €70m.
