Inter Milan coach Conte praises 2-goal Lukaku, Alexis after Coppa win

Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte was delighted with their Coppa Italia defeat of Cagliari.

Inter won 4-1, with Romelu Lukaku scoring twice. Borja Valero and Andrea Ranocchia also struck for Inter.

Conte said, "There was certainly an excellent response from all the guys. I'm happy because there were positive responses from the guys like Dimarco, Lazaro himself played a good game.

"Borja Valero confirmed himself as an element who is doing very well. I am also happy for Alexis, it inevitably takes a while to see the real Sanchez but is returning to his disposition and this is very important."

Asked about Lukaku, he added: "I don't like talking about individuals. We are talking about a player who is showing his strength today. In my opinion he still has room for improvement like Lautaro, Sanchez and Esposito. We have to work but the important thing is that there is their availability."
