Inter Milan chief Lele Oriali has refused to twist the knife at AC Milan over their supporter protests.

Oriali said: "I read that there have been complaints, but you must also understand what the needs are of the club.

"AC Milan has won for many years in Italy and abroad and believes that at this moment there is a need to pursue another policy, this should also be understood."
