Inter Milan are prepared to drop the buyout clause of Mauro Icardi in new contract talks.
Negotiations are continuing between Inter chief Beppe Marotta and Icardi's wife and agent Wanda Nara over new terms.
La Repubblica says Marotta is willing to cut the striker's escape price to push talks along.
With a buyout price of €110m, Marotta is offering to reduce it to €80m to convince Icardi to re-sign.
The gesture is seen as another indicator management want to keep Icardi, despite sacking him as captain a fortnight ago.
