Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio says they're confident of securing Mauro Icardi to a new deal.
Icardi's agent is in Italy for talks over a new contract.
Ausilio said: "It takes time to discuss the details, but we have to recognise the good work he's doing. The thing that counts is that we will soon reach an agreement.
"Could he sign on Monday? There will be a meeting soon and if we can close the deal by Monday then fine, but if not it won't mean there are any problems."
