Inter Milan chief Ausilio coy over plans for Lazio defender De Vrij

Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio is coy over a January move for Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij.

De Vrij is off contract in June.

Ausilio said, “These are not the situations where you should discuss transfer matters. We are evaluating some opportunities on the market, but we have a strong team that can improve its current position. We are also aware that we can find something on the market we don't already have, so we'll see if it can be done."

There are also multiple reports that Joao Mario will leave in January, as he is unhappy at the lack of playing time.

“Luciano Spalletti said it already, he is 100 per cent staying. The same goes for Joao Cancelo. Nobody has asked to leave Inter and we never thought of sending them away. There is time and space for everyone."
