Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti is confident former teammate Adriano will be a success if he returns to Serie A.

The Flamengo striker is in advanced talks with Roma over a summer move.

"His experience in Brazil has helped him find himself again," the Inter captain said. "I think that Roma will sign him and he'll do well.

"I hope that he can still be the player that we all got to know and admired during his time in Italy."
