Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia admits he could've quit for Galatasaray this year.
Ranocchia concedes it's been a difficult 2014 for the Nerazzurri.
"It was a turbulent time as I did not know what was in store for the future," said Ranocchia.
"Every day I was approached by a different team, but luckily I stayed here. I am happy, even if they were difficult months. I continued to train at the maximum and once back on the pitch I stayed there.
"The funny thing is that I could've ended up at Galatasaray, who at that time was coached by Roberto Mancini. Instead, after a few months, we ended up here together.
"It went just as well..."
