Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi hopes to win the Europa League.

Inter will open their Europa League campaign against Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Thursday.

Icardi said, “It would be beautiful to lift a trophy with Inter, I want win with this team. When you win, the credit belongs to everyone, the [technical] staff and your teammates.

“All of us want to make a contribution. I'm comfortable with the formation, the 4-2-3-1, especially since there are so many players that can help me to score.

“Headed goals? It's easier with Banega and Candreva. If we do the things that Mr. De Boer asks of us well then we can make life difficult for any team."
