Inter Milan boss Frank de Boer was delighted with victory over Juventus.
Stephan Lichtsteiner had opened the scoring before Mauro Icardi nodded in and then set up the winner for Ivan Perisic.
“Juventus of course are a team who give you extra motivation, but we discussed things in the locker room, that we had to play as a team from the first to the 90th minute," De Boer told Sky Sport Italia.
“That's something we didn't do on Thursday (in a 2-0 defeat to Hapoel Beer-Sheva), but we did tonight and that is why we deserved the victory.
“I am happy with what everyone is doing right now, we fought the whole game and clearly we can improve, but we have now started to play as a team and with that the added quality can then make the difference.
“We talked a lot about this, as we already went behind and lost our heads three or four times, for example against Chievo and Pescara. It's even worse if you are against Juve.
“However, this time we remained concentrated and did not stray from our approach, so that really paid off. This is what I want to see from my team."
